Personal injury accidents can happen in many ways.  The injuries can be both physical or psychological and the damages can be both economic (actual monetary losses) as well as non-economic (general damages for pain, suffering, inconvenience, anxiety – what I call “quality of life” damages).  Ted Wacker has a track record for record-setting recoveries for personal injuries including being part of the trial team on the Barnett Vioxx case resulting in a $51 Million verdict in which he was responsible for handling many of the expert depositions.  He was also co-lead counsel in the Poole v. Picazo trial which was recognized as one of the Top Ten Verdicts of the Year in 2010 with the jury verdict of $14.6 Million due to a motorcycle accident leaving Mr. Poole a paraplegic.  He was also co-lead counsel in the Lefforge v. St. Edna case featured in an article in the Orange County register in which Lefforge was given an overdose of morphine leading to an anoxic brain injury resulting in a $3.1 verdict plus punitive damages against the skilled nursing facility.  The case later settled for a confidential amount much greater than the verdict.
